Of course, you can still do all the final shaping however you want. Just because this is how I do it doesn't mean this is the only good way. I would recommend following the instructions for orienting the legs right after collapsing the base, as that is the only step not in the crease pattern that is truly structural and not just detailing. Other than that, be creative! There are plenty of ponies with manes that don't look like the mane 6 (toy lines to the contrary). Go ahead and fold Cheerilee, or Bon-bon, or anypony else for that matter. Fill the world with origami ponies!
Pony Head Base still belongs to
Instructions can be found here: [link]
You've made: The Cartographers Crumpled.. Mess....
You're not very good at this, are you? XD
Will try again.
Really. I was thinking "oh my, i must design some models involving MLP nor find some CP/diagram then BAM i found your models then this photodiagram.
I managed to make a lovely surprise with a "classic" 15cm yellow origami paper and now i have my own little Surprise.
Did your models have been displayed in Equestria Daily ?
I noticed a scarcity of pony origami when I joined the fandom a year and a half ago, so I had to do something about it.
As far as I know, my origami has never been featured on EQD. I sent in my mane six models last year when I came out with this photodiagram, but I never heard back from them.
i really wanna make origami pony, but nobody tell me easy way....
but we stuck at 5th shot... that's imposible to fold like that after 4th shot...
we cannot continue this anymore...!!
I always have trouble figuring out crease patterns
Thanks for going to the effort of diagramming the process!
