Always Aim High

Not gonna happen, Springaling. Not that I have anything against alicorns, but they tend to make for poor OCs.

In this comic we get a further glimpse into Springaling's personality, as well as a new OC, Periwinkle Parasol. Again, I tried to differentiate her mane style from those on the show, to varying degrees of success.

This is my first comic made entirely with Inkscape (well, except for the initial pencil-and-paper sketches). I have used Inkscape before to make backgrounds, like in this comic: [link] but I had found it too slow to use for comic-making. That is, until recently when I found a book on the program and found I had been using the tools all wrong. By using the appropriate shortcuts, I was able to cut production time for this comic to almost half of what it was taking me in GIMP, while simultaneously improving the quality. I think I will be vectoring all my ponies from here on out.
